After a year that everything changed in our lives we are now able and proud to announce the opening date of our resort. Last year we took the difficult decision not to operate in order to get ready for season 2021.

So it happened. Upgrading our Resort from 3 to 4 stars.

As in previous years, now also we will continue to offer our high-quality services aiming at your satisfaction. The only change in our operation way will be that our priority is now the safety and health of our guests and staff.

Observing all the distance and protection measures imposed on us by the Greek government, after investigations for safe vacations, we are waiting for all of you willing to have your vacation with us from 14/5/2021.

Operation Protocols 2021

After a year of pandemic we are finally back with the following new operating protocols for the summer season 2021

  Measures to avoid personal contact and protection measures per department

 

In general

  • Avoid shaking hands between staff and guests.
  • Face masks are obligated to all the areas of our Resort.
  • We keep safe distances in all parts of the hotel, avoiding overcrowding.
  • We follow the safety instructions from our trained staff.
  • We strictly follow the signs of hygiene and protection that are in prominent places inside the hotel.
  • All staff during operation is equipped with hygiene individual protection products and loyally implements, as it has been trained and certified, the new hygiene and individual protection plan regarding Covid-19.
  • Information on the basic rules of hygiene is available in prominent parts of the hotel for your better information.
  • Our hotel also allocates a reference doctor in case of a suspected incident.
  • Children should always be under the supervision of their parents, no matter how long they stay in our hotel.
  • Our hotel is equipped with a Medical Kit with all the necessary health safety measures.
  • Touchless payments are at your disposal.

 

Reception

  • Antiseptic devices at the disposal of every guest in the reception desk.
  • Check- out process will take place at 11 a.m. while check- in is transferred at 15.00 p.m. in order to clean thoroughly (and disinfect) the rooms.
  • Avoid overcrowding during check-in / check-out – keeping distances according to the signs which will be disposed on the floor.
  • Our hotel cooperates with Ecolab and all detergents used are certified to neutralize the virus COVID 19.
  • Disinfection of key cards and keys – they will be placed in a special box for disinfection.
  • Prohibition of entering the rooms to non-residents.
  • 24- hour operation.
  • Temperature monitoring during check in.

  • Regular decontamination of the reception desks. The reception is disinfected at regular intervals with special disinfectants.

 

Housekeeping

  • The change of linen and towels is done every 3 days according to the recommendations of National Organization of Public Health.
  • All non-basic items, such as magazines, leaflets, laundry bags, bathrobes, decorative pillows, blankets, etc. are removed.
  • Our hotel cooperates with Ecolab and all detergents used are certified to neutralize the virus COVID 19.
  • The room cleaning is done with cleaning products but also with special disinfectants which ensure the immediate neutralization of germs.
  • Daily room arrangement and waste disposal.
  • Customers can not be present at the time of cleaning the rooms.

 

 

Main Restaurant

  • Mandatory hand disinfection at the entrance of the restaurant.
  • Mandatory use of gloves provided by the Hotel staff at the entrance of the restaurant
  • Partial division of customers’ entrance for a safe function of the restaurant and the avoidance of overcrowding.
  • Maintenance of distances by delimiting the interior and exterior of the table seats with a safety distance, according to the instructions of National Organization of Public Health.
  • Keeping traffic corridors between buffets and tables.
  • Double seating if it’s necessary.
  • Buffets are preserved since they are a feature of our product. Guests will be provided with gloves by the hotel staff at the entrance of the restaurant and will have to wear them to be served by our buffet. At the exit, they will discard the gloves in the trash bin and will be led to their table to enjoy their meal. If you want to add something else from the buffet you will have to repeat the same procedure.
  • We recommend that your stay at the restaurant does not exceed 45 minutes.
  • Cleaning the surfaces of the table seats is done with special disinfectants after each use.
  • There will be an extension of the meal schedule depending on the capacity of the Hotel.
  • The tables are covered with disposable placemats and the cutlery is on the table covered. Strict hygiene and distance measures are applied by employees.
  • Children under 12 years served and always eat with their parents

Pool bar

  • All a la carte services (products & prices) are available on the hotel’s website http://grandbleu-hotel.com/for your intact service.

  • Cleaning the surfaces of the table seats is done with special disinfectants after each use.
  • In case of self-service supply, please observe the floor signs that you will find in the bars as of to avoid overcrowding.
  • Snacks and ice creams will be served exclusively by the Bar staff.
  • All Inclusive Operating Hours: 10:00 to 23:00

 

 

Sunbeds & Umbrellas at the beach

  • Keeping safety by delimiting umbrellas and sunbeds at a distance. The minimum distance between the sunbeds on different umbrellas according to the instructions of NOPH.
  • Cleaning the surfaces of the sunbeds is done with special disinfectants after each use.

 

Operation, Sunbeds & Umbrellas at the pool

  • Pool operating hours:  10.30 to 17.30.
  • Keeping safety by delimiting umbrellas and sunbeds at a distance. The minimum distance between the sunbeds on different umbrellas according to the instructions of NOPH.
  • Cleaning the surfaces of the sunbeds is done with special disinfectants after each use.
  • The maximum number of swimmers allowed at the same moment in the pool is 25 people.
  • We follow the recommendations of the lifeguard pool for our safety.
  • Chlorination and pH control every four hours per day and in accordance with the instructions of NOPH.

 

Groom Service

  • Groom service is available in accordance with hygiene rules.

 

Room Service

  • All a la carte services (services & prices) are available on the hotel’s website http://grandbleu-hotel.com/ for your intact service.
  • Taking under consideration of all hygiene and safety precautions, you can enjoy your meal in the room. The food is served in specially closed packages according to HACCP standards.
  • Operating Hours: 10.00 to 22.00

 

Possible Maintenance during your stay

  • In case of material error in your room, please contact the reception desk. Our hotel technician will visit your room to solve the problem by complying all Health Safety Measures.

 

Use of the Air Condition within your room

  • Your personal air condition works as long as all doors and windows of your room remain closed and the room card is located inside the special switch.
  • It is recommended for the months of July and August, the temperature to be set at 24 degrees Celsius.
  • All the individual air conditions of our hotel are maintained and supervised based on the air conditioning operating regulations set by NOPH.

 

Storage Department

  • The receipt of goods is always done by authorized and trained personnel, taking into account all the Health safety measures.

 

Personnel Safety

  • All staff of Grand Bleu Beach Resort is throughout the operation of the hotel equipped with the necessary individual protection measures as defined by NOPH for each department.
  • Covid 19 tests will be performed on all of our staff once a week.

Personal Documents

  • For dealing with COVID-19, the hotel reserves the right to request from visitors additional documents certifying their identity, their travel schedule or other relevant information under the General Data Personal Regulation (GDPR).

 

Actions on a Covid – 19 case

  • If a visitor presents symptoms compatible with the Covid-19 infection, then the hotel’s action plan for dealing with it, is activated and always in accordance with the strict instructions of NOPH.
  • If a guest has a high temperature at the time of check-in, they will be taken to a special room with their fellow travelers to investigate the possibility of being positive for COVID 19 before the start of their holiday.
